D2E Boston, New England’s premier green living festival is a marketplace
and information center for eco-friendly products, a local food and wine
tasting event, an educational forum for sustainably issues, and a resource
for money-saving energy solutions and tax credits.
NASA scientist Dr. James Hansen, author of the highly praised new book
Storms of My Grandchildren, which details the impact of climate change,
will deliver D2E’s keynote speech on Saturday, April 10 at 3pm. Mayim
Bialik of the Holistic Moms Network, and former star of the TV show
Blossom, will present a workshop on holistic parenting on Sunday, April 11
at 3pm.
The 3rd annual D2E festival showcases information on the latest in green
careers/green collar jobs, local and sustainably produced food,
eco-fashion and design, green building, socially responsible investing,
clean technology, renewable energy, and more.
Sustainable gardens, cooking demonstrations, butter making in the a Kids’
Block, book signings, and workshops on gardening, food, energy, public
policy, home remodeling, and farming are all part of the interactive
environment at D2E.
